According to HK’s Immigration rules, dependant visa for child only applies to unmarried children aged below 18. The dependant in this case was a 37-year-old lady with physical and mental disabilities. The sponsor, her father, was a 78-year-old HKPR with little ability to support her living both physically and financially.
Besides providing the latest medical report to prove the applicant’s disabilities, we stressed that no one in her own country would be able to take care of her. In addition, we also emphasized that other family members in HK are quite well off and a sister of her would be providing financial support and accommodation for her living in HK.
